One of my last projects in my need to get organized this year is my stash. I am still on my self imposed fabric diet so I am only allowing myself to purchase fabric for a specific project or some much needed neutrals for backgrounds. I am starting the year with 200 yards in theContinueContinue reading “Stash and Time Reports”

This week I am continuing on with my goal to keep up with Kate at Life in Pieces 15 minutes a day challenge. To date this month, I have made my goal every day but one! I finished another top that was a pattern test last week. I might be able to get it sandwichedContinueContinue reading “This Week”
This Week in Review
This was a very productive week but I didn’t quite make my goals I did get the Mosaic Mystery quilt top finished and have been debating on whether or not to add more borders. More borders or not? I think I’m done with it! The decision was made by measuring it. 😉. I like theContinueContinue reading “This Week in Review”
2020 Finishalong
#2020FALQ1List This year the finish along is on Instagram and is using hashtags to enter lists and finishes. #2020FALQ1List I’m not sure if I can teach myself to use Instagram before this first quarter starts, but I can do my list: 1. Finish piecing the Mosaic Mystery QAL and get all of the borders onContinueContinue reading “2020 Finishalong”
Weekly Goals
I’m trying to break down my monthly goals to weekly ones to allot time for the bigger projects and still have time for any projects that pop up. My first project is to work on Mosaic Mystery. It’s been hanging around and getting pushed back on the list by other projects. I need to getContinueContinue reading “Weekly Goals”
Mosaic Mystery Update
This morning we had to go to Nelson for DH’s doctor’s appointments. Normally a 50 minute drive. We have severe storm warnings out so it took me an hour and a half to get there. After the appointment we stopped for prescriptions and groceries. The trip home took me just over 1 3/4 hours. ItContinueContinue reading “Mosaic Mystery Update”

I can not believe November is almost over. It seems like it just began last week! The fact that there is still no snow on the ground makes it even more difficult to believe. Friday Follow Up
This has been a busy week. It all started a week ago Thursday when DH and I were discussing visiting some friends in the Okanagan Valley for a few days break. We were going to head out on Thursday. Q4 Finish Along
Time to start a new list for the final quarter of 2019. This quarter will be a tough one. Next week I get to start taking my sling off to do some gentle exercise on my shoulder. Being able to resist the urge to do “just a bit more” will be difficult. I’m not sayingContinueContinue reading “Q4 Finish Along”
Once Upon a Story Show and Tell
This was Marian from Seams to be Sew’s 5 year of doing a fall RowAlong. The theme this year was Nursery Rhymes and Fables. The designers that stepped up to participate really raised the bar with such creativity being shown in their blocks. It was my first time taking part in a Hop and IContinueContinue reading “Once Upon a Story Show and Tell”
