Friday Finish

This week I was reading blog posts and a squirrel got me. Not only was it a squirrel, it was a DrEAMI! I have to thank Sandra from MMM Quilts for writing about the sweet Gingham Quilt she wrote about that she saw on Nancy’s blog Grace and Peace Quilting. I just had to makeContinue reading “Friday Finish”

I Love Thursday #42

I can’t believe how fast these weeks seem to go. I just now realized it’s Thursday, the day where a group of bloggers get together over on LeeAnna’s blog Not Afraid of Color to share things that bring them joy. My week has been taken up with writing a pattern for this scrappy quilt, “ScrappyContinue reading “I Love Thursday #42”

Kris from Phoebe Moon Quilt Designs had asked for a couple of testers to check out her new pattern “Bluebird Song”. I have done a few of her QAL’s and patterns so I knew it would be fun. Here’s the link to her patterns. All I can say is “you need to make this quilt!”Continue reading “Pattern Testing; Bluebird Song”

DrEAMI for April

I have been studiously ignoring the squirrels dive bombing me this month and keeping to my To Do Lists until I got an email from a blog reader asking about a quilt top I had made and what pattern it was. I spent a couple of hours looking through my files but couldn’t find aContinue reading “DrEAMI for April”

”Owltime” My Panel Challenge Quilt

Shelly from Prairie Moon Quilts announced another fun challenge a while back. The challenge was to complete a panel in to a finished quilt by the end of April. RSC Blue Blocks

I made 4 – 12 1/2” square curvy log cabin blocks from my blue scraps, and managed to get them sewn together for a new runner for the cabinet which the tv sits on. When we get back from town for DH’s medical appointments tomorrow, I will get it sandwiched, quilted and the binding on.Continue reading “RSC Blue Blocks”

Every year Sarah from Confessions of a Fabric Addict organizes the Hands to Help Charity Quilt Challenge to encourage quilters everywhere to do a bit more charity quilting. Sunday Sewing

We had some nice weather this morning so I was able to get out for my walk early. I so happy to see how quickly the snow and ice is melting. It was a profitable walk. I came home with 21 golf balls! I save my finds and give them to the golf course. TheyContinue reading “Sunday Sewing”

I discovered Kate and Gun’s Scrap Happy Days post through an online friend and decided that it fits in my wheelhouse perfectly! I love playing with my scraps and creating something fun with them. Once a month these bloggers post their scrappy projects so I decided to join in. I had jumped in to doingContinue reading “Scrap Happy Day”

My Day on Show Your Stripes Blog Hop

I had the greatest time deciding on a project for this hop. There were just so many choices. Practicality set in and I chose to make a new bag for my knitting or crocheting. I get frustrated because I’m always having to put everything down if the phone rings or (heaven forbid) laundry needed toContinue reading “My Day on Show Your Stripes Blog Hop”

It was one of those days I just couldn’t settle to any one project. I think that it must be the start of spring fever. The weatherContinue reading “Wonderful Wednesday”
