I can not believe November is almost over. It seems like it just began last week! The fact that there is still no snow on the ground makes it even more difficult to believe.
I did manage to turn theses sweet piles of cut fabrics in to a finished top:

It is another test pattern so I can only show sneak peaks!

I promise it did get finished and I can hardly wait until March to show it off!
I’m going to make some pillow slips to go with it and this when quilted will go to my sweet Charlotte for her new quilt.
I did spend a week away visiting friends, have been doing weekly physio therapy appointments and am getting ready to go to on vacation. We get to go see kids, grandkids and great grandkids (even meet the newest one due mid December) and look after the farm in order for my son, daughter in law and 2 sweet granddaughters to go on vacation together. They try to get away once a year, but the critters make it difficult (cats, dogs, chickens and horses). So we get to go and that means that my daughter, her kids and their kids get to come visit me without travelling for 12 hours. Win/win situation as far as I’m concerned!
So Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends and family. I do hope your turkey days are filled with love, laughter, good food and time to spend with friends and family and doing fun things! 🍗 😁 Carol

Hi Carol! We have to wait until March to see this completed project. That’s a little mean . . . just sayin’. Safe travels and ENJOY! I know you will!! How fabulously fun. I hope we get to see a few pictures of all the fun. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi Roseanne. Aren’t those fabrics sweet? My grandaughter loves blue so she is getting blue on her quilt. I’m so excited to see my family and can’t wait to give my daughter the biggest hug. She’s had a rough year and has called needing her mom so now it will happen! And I will get to meet my newest great grandaughter when she arrives on the 13th! Doing the happy dance for sure!
PS. You wait until I can show off the pattern I’m testing now and my Winter Blues Blog Hop project! Ha ha. The to be quilted pile will be a mountain of flimsiest before I can maneuver them through my dsm! 😉 Carol

Living on a farm, I know how hard it is to get away!! Our animals are down to a dog, cat and horse, but they still require care. We are blessed to have my husband’s sister living about a mile from us and she is kind enough to feed the cat and horse…the dog usually travels with me and I’m not sure what I’ll do with her if we can’t take her with us. I hope you have a wonderful vacation on the farm and enjoy your time with your family.
