Project Quilting Challenge 1

I was being good working on my UFO’s when I received an email from Persimmon Dreams. Project quilting 11 has begun.

The theme for this week is numbers. I wasn’t too sure what to make but then that squirrel paid me a visit yesterday.

In the Stitch it and Gift It Blog Hop I had visited Tuning My Hearts Blog and Debra had emailed me after to let me know I had won the set of Appliquick tools. One of my goals this year was to get over my fear of doing Applique so out came the tools and my scrap bin.

I am in love with Appliquick tools

I started playing with four patches and then cut out some numbers.

Before I knew it I had the cover made for my notebook.

I’m always digging through my piles of old notebooks to find notes or patterns I drew up. My goal is to make new covers every year from now on to make the search easier!

It’s not a quilt, but I’m happy!

So here’s my sweet little project which goes along with three of my 2020 Goals. Get more organized, work from the stash and scrap bins and get better at doing Applique work!

Doing the happy dance today and hope you all are having fun with fabric today! 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.
