I can show a sneak peek of the fabrics. This will be my third finish for My July OMGContinueContinue reading “Another July Finish!”

Sunday Funday! Another Finish!
Blue skies and sunshine started the day just right. DH had his new golf cart delivered and I was lucky enough to spend my day sewing and fondling fabric. I have another finish! A runner and 6 placemats done. I was pattern testing for Joanne of Canuck Quilting. What a fun pattern and such aContinueContinue reading “Sunday Funday! Another Finish!”

July OMG
I’m hoping my July will be as successful at getting my goals met early and having time in case those squirrels catch me again. I am doing another pattern test for a pattern to be in October or possibly November for The Quilt Pattern Magazine. My deadline for this one is month end. It isContinueContinue reading “July OMG”

The month is starting with sunny blue skies and warm winds blowing! It’s a great way to start the month after having a rainy, dreary month in June. For this month I have 3 patterns to test: 2 full size quilts (54″ x 74″ and 88 1/2″ x 88 1/2″) and one runner/placemat set! HowContinueContinue reading “July OMG”

June OMG
As usual, I didn’t quite make my full list of goals for May. My shoulder was just too uncomfortable to manage any extended periods of time free motion quilting on my domestic machine. Add to that a slight run in between my finger and a moving bobbin shuttle! 🥵 The end result just means IContinueContinue reading “June OMG”
May OMG
I can hardly believe that it is May already! I’m also wondering how everyone else did with their OMG. I had planned on getting all 3 quilts done for the fundraiser for the golf course. I did not get even one finished! This is the first of the three and is a completed flimsy. IContinueContinue reading “May OMG”

Life Takes Another Turn
The exercise regime that DH and his doctors and therapists have settled on for the next two weeks is having great results. He is walking better, his shoulders are almost level and his range of motion is increasing. Yesterday he reached the point where he was able to do a full hour of activity withoutContinueContinue reading “Life Takes Another Turn”

Did any of you follow the Getaway Blog Hop sponsored by Island Batiks and hosted by all of the Island Batik Ambassadors? I have and have been absolutely blown away by so many creative and inspirational people. For several years I have been wanting to create a Storm at Sea quilt. The movement and intricateContinueContinue reading “Storm at Sea”
One Monthly Goal
I was able to meet my January goal of getting some bags and pouches done to get myself organized. I also got caught up with my Quiltville Good Fortune Mystery Quilt. Can I do the same in February? I do have several town trips for doctors appointments and a trip to Kelowna for the MSContinueContinue reading “One Monthly Goal”
A Dreami Attack
Earlier this month I was doing another unpack and purge of my boxes and bins from our storage room knowing that we will be moving again in March and trying to get ready for a trip to Vancouver to see some doctors at a new Clinic for my hubby. While I was doing that IContinueContinue reading “A Dreami Attack”
Update!
We got home Tuesday night after a fairly stress free trip. I managed to stay ahead of the snowstorm that was forecast. It was good driving with only one bad stretch with slush and snow through the pass on the Paulson. I think we were both in bed by 8:30! The next morning we hadContinueContinue reading “Update!”
2019 Finish Along
My year has begun with another unpack of my boxes and bins from the storage room to do another sort and purge! Since moving out of the house (3600 sq ft) in October and into a temporary apartment (600 sq ft) I have discovered I don’t have enough space to sort my already put togetherContinueContinue reading “2019 Finish Along”
