I’m hoping my July will be as successful at getting my goals met early and having time in case those squirrels catch me again.
I am doing another pattern test for a pattern to be in October or possibly November for The Quilt Pattern Magazine. My deadline for this one is month end. It is the second top I will have made while testing for them and I must admit to having tons of fun and loving the finishes. If they keep having these sweet patterns I will have an amazing pile of tops in my UFO pile for quilting by the end of the year!
Aren’t these colours so yummy? I wish I could show more of this WIP but it’s a secret!
I am debating whether Storm At Sea, another Lonestar Quilt, or a curvy log cabin will be my next start for me sewing. The fabrics for this treasure are shown below. Whichever I decide, (and that has to be sorted in the next few days) it will have to be done this month to keep up with my schedule to have my Christmas quilts finished by fall to be able to get everything sent on time.
I have to get this pile of string panels cut into blocks for another Christmas Quilt finish for July.
So the goal is 3 quilts for July. Can I do it again? If I do then I will have made up for the time I’ve lost between DH’s and my own medical issues this year! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
Hope you have a month full of joy and fabric fondling. I plan on doing just that! Thanks for stopping by. 😉 Carol
