July OMG

The month is starting with sunny blue skies and warm winds blowing! It’s a great way to start the month after having a rainy, dreary month in June.

For this month I have 3 patterns to test: 2 full size quilts (54″ x 74″ and 88 1/2″ x 88 1/2″) and one runner/placemat set! How fun is that?

I’m planning on using the following colours for one quilt:

As you can see, I started cutting yesterday and today my machine has been humming! This will be the larger of the two quilts when it’s done.

This next pile is the start of my pull for the 54″ x 74″ quilt. it was the last of the line that my LQS had from the Timeless Treasures collection by Veronique Charon. The blues, browns and metallic bits just called to me. I will dig in to my stash this afternoon and find some fabrics that will coordinate. I have some ideas that should work.

My third test will be done with this pile of Christmas goodness:

If it works the way I see it in my head, I will be so happy to have another project done for my Christmas list.

If all goes according to plan I will also have 2 more projects done from my 2019 UFO and Projects Half Done list.

Linking up with Elm Street Quilts.

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.
