Star Cross

I finished testing another pattern for The Quilt Pattern Magazine which will be published in December. It was a paper pieced project with Y Seams and I thoroughly enjoyed doing this project. Designed by Denise Mohler, it was well written and very easy to follow. I chose to do my wall hanging in Christmas FabricsContinueContinue reading “Star Cross”

Q4 Finish Along

Time to start a new list for the final quarter of 2019. This quarter will be a tough one. Next week I get to start taking my sling off to do some gentle exercise on my shoulder. Being able to resist the urge to do “just a bit more” will be difficult. I’m not sayingContinueContinue reading “Q4 Finish Along”

This week was a good one. I’m doing my physio daily and saw my surgeon for the 2 week follow up post surgery. He is pleased with my progress. The Saga Continues

Just a quick update post surgery. According to my surgeon all went well. The severed ligament was reattached and anchored firmly. The tears in the other ligaments were repaired and my rotator cuff is as smooth as a really fine piece of fabric. My surgeon’s wife is a quilter so he knew what to sayContinueContinue reading “The Saga Continues”
