November Fun Finish

At our Guild meeting at the beginning of November a request was put forward to our members to make and donate some items to the local food bank. At their Christmas party in December some volunteers take the kids in to the back room where they are encouraged to pick presents to gift their parents. The volunteers help the kids wrap them. Our Guild members were busy planning knitting and crocheting patterns and projects to donate.

I decided that I am not quick enough at knitting and I do have to do a project for the Stitch It and Gift It Blog Hop hosted by Carla at Stitching in the Ditch.

Planning and measuring, designing and piecing!

The first project was to cover some notebooks and add a pen or pencil.

First composition book completed.

The books were an odd size so I had to make up the pattern as I went along. This first one is done and 5 more cut out and sitting on my table to be finished.

I’ll update this post once they are all done.

Thanks for stopping by. Are you busy yet with Christmas projects? 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. I made 2 table toppers to give to the hospice nurse and CNA that come to help my dad every week. They are pretty much my total contact with the outside world right now!! I am also planning on a snowflake table topper for an old friend (she was at my first birthday party!), just working it out in my head!!
