My list for February’s OMG was a short one; only 3 things on it. I’ve been making some progress and even dealing with a squirrel , or two! 1. Sort out DH’s tshirts and start on the design for a memory quilt. To get to the bins with his shirts in I pretty much hadContinueContinue reading “To Do Tuesday #1”

Last half of February
This hasn’t been the most productive month I have had, but my vision in one eye is fantastic and my right eye gets operated on in a week and a half so I’m content. I did manage to keep working on my four patches for the scrappy quilt I’ve been working on. I was doingContinueContinue reading “Last half of February”
Project Quilting 11.3
In spite of my wonky vision I managed to finish my project. A good friend, who just happens to be a Quilter had told me she is looking for a bag to keep her quilting tools together when she comes to our quilting days at the Guild. She has had a rough year, losing herContinueContinue reading “Project Quilting 11.3”
Day 2 Post Surgery
Another adventure has begun! Had the cataract surgery on Monday. I admit to being scared witless beforehand😩. All in all it took less than an hour from when I got to the hospital to walking out the door! My surgeon was fantastic and explained things as he was proceeding. He was satisfied with how everythingContinueContinue reading “Day 2 Post Surgery”

Stash and Time Reports
One of my last projects in my need to get organized this year is my stash. I am still on my self imposed fabric diet so I am only allowing myself to purchase fabric for a specific project or some much needed neutrals for backgrounds. I am starting the year with 200 yards in theContinueContinue reading “Stash and Time Reports”

This Week in Review
This was a very productive week but I didn’t quite make my goals I did get the Mosaic Mystery quilt top finished and have been debating on whether or not to add more borders. More borders or not? I’m trying to break down my monthly goals to weekly ones to allot time for the bigger projects and still have time for any projects that pop up. My first project is to work on Mosaic Mystery. It’s been hanging around and getting pushed back on the list by other projects. I need to getContinueContinue reading “Weekly Goals”
Mosaic Mystery Update
This morning we had to go to Nelson for DH’s doctor’s appointments. Normally a 50 minute drive. We have severe storm warnings out so it took me an hour and a half to get there. After the appointment we stopped for prescriptions and groceries. The trip home took me just over 1 3/4 hours. ItContinueContinue reading “Mosaic Mystery Update”
