Last goals:
1. Keep working on my hand quilting, EPP projects and leader/ender projects. Some progress! 😁
2. When I get back to the studio next, make the time to quilt my version of A Roll of the Dice. No studio time this week.
3. Finish my second Heading North quilt, designed by Sandra of MMM Quilts. No progress.
4. Keep working on my Dresden blocks and decide on my final plan for sashing and borders. No progress. 😢

5. Work on the last binding that needs to be hand stitched when I get back to the studio. Didn’t happen.
6. Start working on my orange RSC Challenge blocks. I’ve started gathering my orange scraps. 😁
7. Finish my projects for the May Sew It – Show It Challenge “Rose Colored Glasses” being hosted by Carol from Just Let Me Quilt. Projects are done! Just need to finish writing my posts. 😁

8. Get caught up with the Rainbow Neighbourhood QAL hosted by Sandra Walker from MMM Quilts. I’m still not caught up but I have been stitching. 😁

9. Finish up my two UFOs. Hand stitching my bindings! 😁

10. Finish the pattern test quilt. Flimsy is finished. Just need to get time to sandwich and quilt it. 😁

11. Start planning a project for the next Sew-It Show-It Challenge, When Pigs Fly, being hosted by Joan from Moosestash Quilting. I have too many ideas and projects for this one! 🤔

12. Allow myself to plan a couple of projects from the box of treasures I received from Denise: I couldn’t resist and had to start planning and playing!

13. Do not let Samantha or any of her squirrel buddies side track me from my list or tempt me with any new projects. 🐿🐿🐿🐿 I let Samantha have her way with reorganizing my sewing corner, finishing setting up my new cutting table, and tempting me to start sewing from the treasures Denise sent instead of just planning them 😉

I’ve been thinking about my To Do List and how horrendously huge it looks with so much on it. I’ve finally decided to break it in to two lists; one for home and one for the studio. 🤔
This week’s goals:
1. Keep working on my EPP, embroidery and leader/ender projects.
2. Keep working on my Dresden blocks and decide on my final plan for sashing and borders.😉

3. Finish writing my post for the May Sew It – Show It Challenge “Rose Colored Glasses” being hosted by Carol from Just Let Me Quilt.

4. Get caught up with the Rainbow Neighbourhood QAL hosted by Sandra Walker from MMM Quilts.

5. Finish hand sewing the bindings on my two UFOs.

6. Sandwich and quilt the pattern test quilt.

7. Finalize my projects to use for the next Sew-It Show-It Challenge, When Pigs Fly, being hosted by Joan from Moosestash Quilting.

8. Allow myself to keep playing on a couple of projects from the box of treasures I received from Denise. I’ll try to behave and only do them as leader/Enders until I get caught up on my list. 😉
9. Start thinking up a project for the July Sew It – Show It Challenge, Punic Party, hosted by Carol from Just Let Me Quilt

13. Do not let Samantha or any of her squirrel buddies side track me. 🐿🐿🐿🐿
Studio To – Do List
1. When I get back to the studio make quilting my Roll of the Dice quilt the priority and get the binding put on.
2. Finish my second Heading North quilt, designed by Sandra of MMM Quilts which I left at the studio. 😳
3. Work on the last binding that needs to be hand stitched when I get back to the studio.
4. Finish my DWR which is on the frame.

Stitchin’ Time

Kate from Life in Pieces hosts a weekly linky party to help us keep to our goals of stitching every day.

- February 28/28

- April 23/30

- Previous Total 117/126
- Total: 124/133
- Percentage = 93.23 %

Stash Report

I like to link with Donna @ QuiltPaintCreate to keep track of fabric in and out of my stash.
- Fabric Used: 9 yards
- Fabric Purchased this week: 0 yards
- Fabric Previous Balance: 61 yards
- Balance in stash to use this year: 52 yards
* my goal is to lessen my stash by 100 yards this year. I haven’t managed to actually figure out how much fabric I really have in my stash, but I have reduced my stash these past few years and really only purchase fabric if I need it for a particular project. If I do purchase fabric I add it to my Balance in stash to use this year in order to continue reducing my stash. 😉
* any fabric used from the scrap bins, was gifted or a prize; doesn’t count as stash!
PHD in 2023
Quilting Gail is hosting her PHD in 2023 Challenge again this year. 😉

Thank you for stopping by and reading my post. Your comments make my day and I do reply to each one. 😉 Carol

Dividing your list to sewing room and studio to do makes a lot of sense. Congrats on all the stitching time this week, you made good progress on several fronts. Fingers crossed this is an even better week.

Dividing your list was a great idea – I’m sure it helps, knowing what to work on in each space!

It does seem like a lot when it’s all in one post. Well, it IS a lot! LOL Congratulations on making some progress, though, and in many areas.

Hi Susan. It is a lot but I’m trying (stress trying) to finish projects before starting another, but having projects in 2 spaces makes it difficult 😉

Good job in reorganizing. It is always refreshing to do this, but so many distractions can creep up on you! LOL… thanks for sharing in Sew & Tell.
