PQ 13 Has Begun

I look forward to this every year! Kim from Persimmon Dreams hosted this fun challenge. Trish Frankland (aka QuiltChicken) is our PQ challenge mistress who comes up with each theme.

PQ13.1 – ALL THE COLORS!

RULE 1: YOUR PROJECT MUST BE COLORFUL – AT LEAST 5 COLORS MUST BE PRESENT.

You have one week to meet the challenge. Every challenge piece must be a FINISHED project seen through from INCEPTION to COMPLETION during the challenge timeline – that is, started on or after January 2, 2022, and posted by noon Central Time January 9, 2022.Each piece must stand alone as DONE to count toward prizes.Your project does not need to be a traditional quilt, but must meet at least one of these requirements: include patchwork, include appliqué, have 3 layers stitched together by hand or machine.

My project ties in with my January theme of tidying and organizing my tiny 4 1/2” square sewing space. I enjoy working with scraps and am always trying to use them up so I always have a leader/ender project by my machine. I’m always bumping my piles so I decided I needed a little basket to keep my pieces together.

It works just right beside my little machine and I did use orange, blue, green, brown, pink and purple with yellow, red and white accents; all the colours! 😄

I think this counts as my first DrEAMI project for the year! 🐿

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.
