My goals and Reports for the Week

My Weekly Goals – To Do Tuesday #55

Chris at Chris Knits is now hosting the weekly To-Do linky party. I can’t believe it’s been a year since I started joining Roseanne and Sue at Home Sewn By Us for this fun link up.

Last week’s list:

1. Try to get away to the studio for a couple of days with the longarm to quilt Delaney’s quilt and my SAHRR, or one of my older UFO’s? No getting away this week.

2. Work on the panel quilt challenge. Sandwiched and ready for quilting.

3. Continue working on a new project. 48 blocks done so far.

4. Finish my project with the fun leftovers from the Follow Your Own Path test I did. No progress.

5. Start on my project for another Blog Hop. Some progress.

6. Get my first vaccine/shot in the arm on Friday. Done with the common side effects for 2 days; chilled, fatigued and needed a nap. 😄

7. Continue avoiding the squirrels. No such luck! I just had to stop everything and play with my blue scraps to make a new runner for the top of the tv stand for a good friend.

I just had to do it!

This week’s goals:

1. Try to get away to the studio for a couple of days to spend some quality time with the longarm.

2. Quilt and bind the panel quilt for the challenge

3. Work on the secret sewing project.

4. Work on my project for the Born to be Wild Blog Hop.

5. Start on a new pattern test.

6. Start on another new pattern test.

7. Finish my topper from the squirrel attack.

8. Avoid the squirrels!

Stitchin’ Time

I’m trying for at least 15 minutes a day, but also want to at least spend 15 minutes tidying up and dealing with scraps.

  • Previous time – 107/115
  • This week – 7/7
  • Year To Date – 114/122

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Hi Carol! Yippee for the first vaccine shot. I wasn’t impacted at all on the first shot but I was so exhausted with the second. Forty-eight blocks for a new project – how many do you need for your newest quilt? Good luck this week with your list. It’s quite extensive, as usual. ~smile~ Roseanne

    1. Hi Roseanne. I’m all good now after the shot. Have to wait until August for the next one 😳I’m not sure how many blocks I need for this next quilt. I’m still playing with the layout. Probably another 36-40 more 😉. I didn’t think I had much on the go until I wrote my list.

    1. Hi Gail. I’m so happy to have had the first shot and I’m feeling fine just a bit tired still. I’m desperate to get to the studio and it IS in my zone, but we just had an outbreak at the local school so I’m going to wait until I know we haven’t been exposed (even second or third hand) 😉
