April OMG Check In

My April list was short so I was hoping to get it done.

In all it was an interesting month. I had the most exciting news when I received an email that I won the $25.00 gift certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop for an OMG entry. Thank you Patty. It didn’t take long for me to add more to the order I was putting together at FQS. I find that for some things it’s too much fun to shop on line. Then DH and I were the happy recipients of our first shot, the Pfizer Covid vaccine. I was prepared in case either of us reacted, but other than feeling chilled and needing naps for a couple of days it was great. My arm was not even sore enough to stop me from sewing. 😉

1. I need to get this flimsy on the frame to have a finished quilt in time for my granddaughter to gift it to her friend. It looks like she will be in Canada (hopefully) in June if all goes according to plan. Unfortunately we are in lockdown here in B.C. with travel being restricted. Technically I could probably go to my studio since it is in the same health region, and I have had my first shot, but it’s better to not take chances. This quilt (and all the other To Be Quilted Tops will have to wait a bit longer. 😒

2. I need to finish the secret sewing project I just started. Done

3. I have 2 Blog Hop projects to finish before month end. Done

Am I happy with my April progress and adventures? You bet I am!

Thanks for stopping by to read my post. 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.
