This month’s colour is yellow so it was time to pull out some scraps and start having fun.
This is as far as I got after finishing a pattern test quilt (secret sewing; can’t share a sneak peek) 😁 and before doing some work on a quilt for my friend in hospital with Covid.

I’m also trying to pull fabric for a 2 colour quilt pattern test. I want to use a beautiful grey fabric I have in my stash, but can’t decide on the second colour. Any suggestions? Drop me a comment if you do. 🤔
I do hope your Super Bowl Sunday is being spent the way you enjoy whether it’s watching the game or playing with fabric. I’m getting to do both 😉 Carol

I like what you’re making for your friend! As for what with the gray – Grays are all so different. I would take out different colors in your stash and just see what looks good with YOUR gray!

To my eyes today Dusan nothing looks right with my beautiful, mottled medium to light gray. 😉

Your friend will be so fortunate to receive the great quilt you are making. Yellow is my favorite with gray, but auditioning is the way to choose.

Thank you Joyce. Yellow was my first choice, too, but I’m trying to work from my stash and I don’t have enough yellow or white. I have enough of every other colour but nothing just pops. Guess I might need to do curbside pickup from my LQS 😄

Grey goes with everything! I’m seeing pretty grey and yellow blocks this month, but I think it is beautiful with purple as well, or even green. So many great choices!

Thanks Angela. I’m working on so many different projects right now that colours just aren’t seeming right at least not in any of the fabrics I have enough of. 😉. Roadside pickup at my LQS might be a necessity.
