In my post on the Stitch it and Gift It Blog Hop I let everyone know that I was having a giveaway for one follower of my blog. I said the giveaway would be a surprise and would depend on where the winner lived. Kind of strange, but since DH and are are retired, funds are limited and I do have to consider the costs for shipping and customs.

The winner is Susan of Farm Quilter. I emailed Susan and through our emails discussed an upcoming trip DH and I are taking so I can either mail the parcel from America or even better, possibly hand deliver it to her.

Thank you to all my followers. I’m so glad you are here! I can’t show the prize until after Susan receives it but can admit that it was a fun bundle to put together and I hope she will be able to have some fun with it!
I’m off to go for a long walk. It had snowed all day off and on yesterday but melted overnight. That was our second warning shot so I’m trying to enjoy the extra fall days before winter sets in. Have a great day everyone. Do have some fun going for a walk, reading a good book or playing with fabric. I think this Sunday will include all of the above for me. 😁 Carol
Hi Carol! Yay for Susan and I sure do hope you get to meet and deliver it in person. How wonderful would that be?!! Enjoy that nice walk today. We all know it will come to an end soon, but no reason to not enjoy this day to the fullest. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi Roseanne. It was so nice I was outside in shirt sleeves 😁. Wouldn’t it be fun to meet on line friends in person? I wish we could all do that!

Thank you so much, Carol!!! I’m crossing my fingers that we will be able to meet in person!!! Enjoy your autumn days while they last…winter is nipping at the heals of autumn down here and we’re expecting a snowstorm that will leave snow in the valley this week!!

You are more than welcome. I’m hoping we get to meet as well. It would be nice to hear your voice out loud instead of in my head!! 😁You’re expecting snow? I’m sorry to hear that. Our forecast doesn’t show any for at least 2 weeks.
