Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s linky party.

I’m having a giggle while I’m writing this. Real life drama just continues! My life this past week has been filled with home visits from Geriatric Medical teams, Nursing teams and then last night the icing on my cake; another break in at the golf course and subsequent visits from RCMP and the other Board Members. 😲

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  2. Oh my … what a week you’ve had!!! I’m amazed that you manage to get everything done with all the visits from medical teams to the RCMP!! Hopefully, the break-in people are caught and that it doesn’t happen again!

    And, I hope this coming week is a little quieter!

  3. Do you ever think that life sometimes just decides it’s your turn for mayhem? Hopefully this week will be much calmer and you can work in some quailty sanity time with the sewing machine.

    1. Kate it sure seems that these past months have been filled with drama and mayhem. I keep thinking it should be someone else’s turn? Today I’m dealing with more repairs again to the fuel tanks (ordering another $1000 of parts) and lining up Jerry cans to get gas and diesel for our greenskeeping staff. Then it’s stitching time for me 😁

    1. OMG! I had written the post and scheduled it to post on Monday night and it has just disappeared. Just the last thing I needed this week. Sometimes I really dislike technology🤬 But thank you for the prayers. We really do need and appreciate them right now. 🤗

      3. Thank you so much! My husband is my rock as we both grieve together. I mentioned to him that we have five family members who have passed in the month of August. Instead of being so serious with me, he smiled and said then let’s quickly get to the end of August! We both chuckled because his birthday is August 31.

        We’ve been married 44 years and he can still make me smile. God is good.

  5. You certainly had a wild week. Between the home visits from the Geriatric Medical teams and the RCMP showing up over that break in at the golf course, it is a wonder you have any energy left for fabric fun. It takes a lot of resilience to keep having a giggle through that kind of real life drama. When chaos hits like that from every direction, sitting down with a creative project is often the best way to let the mind finally settle. I hope you get some peaceful time to enjoy looking through all the projects shared in this week’s linky party. You have definitely earned a calm afternoon.
