Hello and welcome to my Sunday Summary and To Do Tuesday List.

I had another busy week with appointments for DH, meetings and a fair amount of time dedicated to paperwork and accounting for the Guild, but I managed my stitching time every day except one.
My Last To-Do Goals:
1. Keep working on my hand stitching since slow stitching is so relaxing. I only need to make 5 half hexies to get to the stage of sewing those sweet flowers together. 😁

2. Continue working with the blocks for the memory quilts for my son, granddaughters and Clarke’s family from a collection of T-shirts from my son, DIL and granddaughters and our Clarke’s clothing. Managed a bit on these blocks 😁

3. Keep playing with the orphan blocks and goodies from Denise, with some additions from my stash, to use up more bits and pieces until those project boxes are empty. No progress on these this week 😉

4. Finish making the quilt top from my crumb pieces and a leftover bit from a panel. I’m a bit closer to finishing this flimsy; just need to trim the panel blocks and check that my quilt math was right for my butterfly blocks. 😁

5. Make some time to make progress on Gail from Quilting Gail’s Mystery QAL since it finished a while ago.. No progress here 😢

6. Continue fixing popped seams and stay stitching the edges of the next bin of quilt tops for Liz’s project. I pulled the tops out of the bin and checked to see which need more popped seams fixed and which only need stay stitching around the outside 😁

7. Do not let Samantha or any of her squirrel buddies side track me🐿🐿🐿🐿. Success! I stayed on track but did add a few things to my “Must Make List” thanks to the on line community I enjoy so much ✅
This Week’s goals:

Just look at how short my list is getting to be since I’m behaving and not starting anything new. 😉

Stitchin’ Time

Kate from Life in Pieces hosts a weekly linky party to help us keep to our goals of stitching every day. I just love her new logo!
I’m trying for at least 30 minutes a day this year and 1 hour at the end of the week to tidy up and deal with my scraps. I wasn’t really off to a good start, but it is getting better as things settle down in my real life and commitments lessen. 🤔
- January 4/31
- February 2/28
- March 10/31
- April 12/30
- May 29/31
- June 26/28
- this week 6/7
- Previous Total: 78/172
- Total: 84/179
- Percentage = 46.93 %
I hope you all get to set and keep your goals for your Stitching Time and join Kate. 😁

Stash Report

I like to link with Donna @ QuiltPaintCreate to keep track of fabric in and out of my stash. If I can plan trips to the studio I expect my stash to be reduced terrifically when I start making backings for all of the quilt tops I’ve got to do. 🤩
- Fabric Used: 0 yards
- Fabric Purchased this week: 0 yards
- Fabric Previous Balance: 15 yards
- Fabric Purchased this year: 9 yards
- Balance in stash to use this year: 186 yards
* my goal is to lessen my stash by 200 yards this year. 😉
* any fabric used from the scrap bins, was gifted or a prize; doesn’t count as stash!

Design Wall Mondays

Judy, at Small Quilts and Doll Quilts, hosts a linky party for “Design Wall Mondays” every week.
I’m including some photos of my current WIPs;

My UFO and WIP List
Last but not least I have to update my UFO Speadsheet and then try keeping it up to date and so help with my accountability now that I have gone through everything in my storage room and sewing space. I’ve not made any progress on this since computer time is limited to reading blogs, checking emails and doing never ending paperwork for the two Societies I help with. 😅

In closing I’d like to thank you for visiting, for joining the To Do Tuesday linky party, for sharing the party link, and above all for being part of my quilting world. 🤗 Carol

I think you did very well catching up on your projects…and adding things to the list is a little different than starting a whole new project (in my book anyway).

Thank you Kathleen. To me anything added to the list is a new start unless I pull a UFO out of the bins. 😉

You did well on your to do list this week and congrats on all the stitching time this week. Hopefully you are enjoying some good summer weather. Hopefully it’s not as hot there as it is here.

Great progress! You are dedicated to sew the popped seams on those quilts. And your hexie project looks wonderful. I didn’t realize you were still doing the Tuesday goals link party. I’ll make a note of it and hopefully will remember to link up next week.

Good job staying on task with your EPP! I’ve come to realize the same with my cross stitch — it is my “end of day” session and I rarely miss it so it’s no surprise that I get things done for that craft. Ooh, your crumbly butterflies look just like the printed panel squares! How fun! For years I’d compile the journals I keep on my my quilt projects into binders and recently realized I haven’t pulled one together since 2018!! Too much time spent trying to blog consistently and now I also watch alot of Flosstube on You Tube. You just can’t forsake being amoungst the crafty, LOL!!

Thank you Vivian. Aren’t those butterflies just too cute? I had so much fun making them. You actually made binders? I can’t even remember to always get photos of my finishes. Keeping in touch with our crafty friends is such a necessity in life 😉

Your flowers are lovely, I love the soft colors. The light blue fabric looks like denim. Pretty scrappy butterfly too! Thank you for sharing and linking up, have a great sewing week!
