Scrap Happy Day

ScrapHappy Day!

It seems like forever since I shared a Scrap Happy Post, but I can report that I have several scrappy projects on the go. It seems as if green is the main colour for a couple of projects since when I checked my scrap bin/organizer the green bin seemed to be extra full so I planned a couple of projects to use some up.

A friend, Monique gifted me some Tula Pink scraps and crumb blocks seemed to be the perfect use. I do have a plan as to how to finish these sweet, colourful blocks.

Another friend, Denise often sends me treasure boxes with scraps, leftover blocks and bits of fabric that I like to have fun trying to use up.

Log cabins are always a favourite so purple and yellow shades seemed a perfect combination this time around.

Then of course there are always squares and hst’s to use up more scraps. Add white for the common background and it does look like a good starting point if it all works out as I imagined and drafted it.

There are several others who regularly post Scrap Happy Posts and here is the updated list of links:

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. You have some fun scrappy projects in the works. Love the purple/yellow log cabins. Hope you see some dents in your scrap bins. I keep hoping that will happen, but the seem to reproduce over night!
