My Last To-Do Goals:
Last week was a fun and interesting week! I was having too much fun getting my stitching time in every day. I had a couple of quilting days at the Guild as well as a Board Meeting at the Guild to discuss the installation of the new flooring, the necessity of moving equipment, and the date. We also were initiating the planning for our annual fundraiser in April. Then
1. Keep working on my EPP, embroidery and embroidery sampler as time and my eyesight allow. No progress. 😢
2. Try to finish binding the eight six quilts. I was busy this past week and managed to get two bindings finished and a third started! 😢

3. Finish the memory quilts for my son and granddaughters from a collection of T-shirts from my son, DIL and granddaughters and our Clarke’s clothing. The binding is finished on this first memory quilt. Now I need to get busy on the rest of the quilts! 😃

4. Keep playing with the orphan blocks and goodies from Denise, with some additions from my stash, to use up more bits and pieces until those project boxes are empty. I did get a bit more done on these purple/yellow log cabin blocks! 😁

5. Finish making the blocks from my crumb blocks before Monique hands me another bag of Tula Pink scraps. Not much progress on this other than deciding on the background and starting to cut the sashing and needed background squares and strips. 😢
6. Put the binding on my quilt and start writing my post for the blog hop. Still working on the binding on this one, but I did get the binding attached and I’m making progress on the hand stitching! 😉

7. Finish sorting and deal with the fabric acquisition: Done! 😁

8. Do not let Samantha or any of her squirrel buddies side track me🐿🐿🐿🐿. Samantha got me again! I had two quilting days at my Guild so Sam decided I had to finalize the layout for the blocks I made from a kit and a lot of extra fabric! It’s not only laid out but all of the blocks are labelled and ready to start assembling! I will manage to empty another of those project bins soon! Then I saw one of my favourite designers needed a pattern tested so of course I had to volunteer! 😁

This Week’s goals:
This week I have a day at the Guild to deal with delivering and storing my fabric donation to the Guild, then helping to remove the equipment (the floor loom, treadle machine, etc.) and several rolling cupboards to the storage sheds, a trip to town for DH’s meds, getting an oil change and service on the car, packing our bags, and driving to Sandpoint for DH’s neice’s wedding on Saturday! I’m taking a quilt to bind with me when we go, but I’m not sure how much progress I’ll make on my To-Do List this week! 😉
Now it’s time for my new To Do Tuesday List:

1. Keep working on my EPP, embroidery and embroidery sampler as time and my eyesight allow.
2. Try to finish binding the eight now six quilts. 😉
3. Finish the memory quilts for my son, granddaughters and Clarke’s family from a collection of T-shirts from my son, DIL and granddaughters and our Clarke’s clothing.

4. Keep playing with the orphan blocks and goodies from Denise, with some additions from my stash, to use up more bits and pieces until those project boxes are empty.
5. Finish making the blocks from my crumb blocks before Monique hands me another bag of Tula Pink scraps. 😉
6. Finish the binding on my quilt and start writing my post for the blog hop.

7. Start assembling this quilt top:

8. Finish the pattern test!
9. Do not let Samantha or any of her squirrel buddies side track me🐿🐿🐿🐿.
Stitchin’ Time

Kate from Life in Pieces hosts a weekly linky party to help us keep to our goals of stitching every day.
I’m trying for at least 30 minutes a day this year and 1 hour at the end of the week to tidy up and deal with my scraps. I wasn’t really off to a good start, but it is getting better as things settle down in my real life time and commitments lessen. 🤔
- January 21/31
- February 27/29
- March 27/31
- April 20/30
- May 26/31
- June 22/30
- July 31/31
- August 24/31
- September 7/14
- this week 7/7
- Previous Total 205/251
- Total: 212/258
- Percentage = 82.17 %
At this rate, I might get back up to 85 or even 90% by the end of the year! I hope you all get to set and keep your goals for your Stitching Time and join Kate. 😁

Stash Report

I like to link with Donna @ QuiltPaintCreate to keep track of fabric in and out of my stash. If I can plan a trip to the studio I expect my stash to be reduced terrifically when I start making backings for all of the quilt tops I’ve got to do. 😁
- Fabric Used: 2 yards
- Fabric Purchased this week: 0 yards
- Fabric Previous Balance: 36 yards
- Fabric Purchased this year: 0 yards
- Balance in stash to use this year: 34 yards
* my goal is to lessen my stash by 100 yards this year. I haven’t managed to actually figure out how much fabric I really have in my stash, but I have reduced my stash these past few years and only purchase fabric if I need it for a particular project. If I do purchase fabric I add it to my Balance in stash to use this year in order to continue reducing my stash. 😉
* any fabric used from the scrap bins, was gifted or a prize; doesn’t count as stash!

Lots of progress this week, even if you did end up following a squirrel for a bit. Congrats on your stitching metrics this week too. Good luck with this week’s list, hope you find lots of time to stitch in between all your errands.
