To – Do Tuesday #16 Link Party

Hello and welcome to the To Do Tuesday link party!

Did you get to visit all 20 quilters who joined our party last week? I’m happy to say I was able to and was impressed with the progress everyone made on all of their projects. I’ve been hard pressed to stick with my list and not add every single project that every one is doing to my list! My DH would not be happy if I took over more of our apartment to stack more WIPs and project bins everywhere! 😉

If any of you have issues linking up, please leave a comment below or email me your URL and I’ll post it for you. I am adding this note just in case we have issues again.

My week was busy with another trip to the studio, some almost finishes and another Blog Hop Challenge being posted. it ended with my coming home with a nasty flu bug (the first in several years, I might add🤮) and losing most of my day on Friday. I felt better by dinner time and even sewed for a while Friday night and a couple of hours on Saturday in between household chores and taking down our winter carport and being at the Guild for a meeting.

Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any project – It can be in-progress or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features one of your projects.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. There will be a linky party available every week!
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following or commenting on my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

It is now your turn to share what you are working on or have finished.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. I’m so glad your flu bug didn’t hold you down for too long! You still managed to get a lot done! SO looking forward to seeing that double wedding ring finish! I love the gray and greens together. Congrats on your other two finishes. Thanks for linking up with Monday Musings!

  2. That was a short bout of flu. I hope you know how lucky you were that it didn’t drag on for a couple of weeks.

I’m curious about your winter carport. Is it portable? If so, how does it stand up to wind and snow? I need a portable carport for summer shade, but I haven’t seen one that wouldn’t get torn up with our wind.

    1. Hi Marti. I am guessing I was really lucky with the big only lasting as long as it did. The carport is one of those vehicle shelters. Since I live in the mountains of BC, we get lots of snow and wind and the carport has held up for 5 years. We got the frame from a friend when we moved here. I just use a regular tarp on it and they usually last 3 years even with our weather. 😉
