I Was Featured

I was thrilled when trying to get caught up on emails and reading blog posts to see that Jennifer, The Inquiring Quilter featured my SAHRR quilt on her Wednesday Wait Loss 319!

This is the quilt that made the cut:

My fun entry in to the SAHRR.

It all started with the centre block:

You can read about my quilt here. It has the links back to Quilting Gail’s post and the other amazing quilter’s who hosted the weekly challenges.

To continue on this past few weeks I finished two more quilt tops and even started the stitch in the ditch on one of them.

Both are still not finished being quilted, but I have started the stitch in the ditch on the Pond Quilt and I have drawn up my quilting plan for the DWR.

Thank you for stopping by to read my post. Comments are appreciated and always replied to! 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Hi Carol! I can see why you were featured. Your version of the SAHRR turned out so nicely. I think it was brilliant turning your center block INTO the spool. That has stayed with me since you first shared it. Great job. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. Love how you used the double wedding ring blocks in your quilt! Can’t wait to see this one quilted. Your pond quilt is divine! So excited to know that a finish is near. Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell linky, Wednesday Wait Loss.
