I have been busy playing with scraps to make my fun little Gnome blocks:

and of course, the scrappy RSC blocks; pink for February and green for March:

I had one of my Guild members send me home with two bags of scraps and strips:

I had to start playing with them since I don’t have a lot of space to store anything and in short order I had scrappy blocks made. I did have to cut some yardage for my sashing:

I also finished my SAHRR (completely from the scrap bin or using leftovers from other projects or cutoffs from hst’s:

The other project I managed to complete to a flimsy was my Double Wedding Ring. It started with a gifted center panel. Then I did cut some yardage for my background (the grey fabric) and used scraps to make my arcs. Just need to get to the studio to finish this one on the longarm. I even have blocks made to make a couple of matching pillow shams. 😉

Thank you for visiting to read my post. I hope you’ve had a lovely St. Patrick’s Day and are finding the time to celebrate International Quilting Weekend by playing with your fabric and scraps! 😁 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Love, love, LOVE seeing the double-wedding ring all finished and just awaiting its turn on the longarm. Some shams are the perfect icing on that cake. Is this project for you? I hope you get to keep and enjoy it. It’s gorgeous!! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
