SAHRR – The Fourth Round

In case you missed it, the SAHRR has begun. Last week everyone shared photos of their third border……hourglass blocks!

See the QAL schedule below:

I have to say a huge thank you to Gail and the rest of the quilty crew that is keeping us motivated with my favourite QAL to start my year.

The prompt this week is from Anja @ Anja Quilts and she gave us Flying Geese.

I have to confess that I didn’t make my geese this week. I had some leftovers from when I made a Follow Your Own Path quilt which is designed by Sandra From MMM Quilts. I had planned on using them and as many other leftover bits and scraps in this quilt as I could. With this border added on my little quilt is now 26” x 28”.

Now it all depends on what our next prompt is and if my border fabric will tie it all together as I’m hoping. 🤞🏻

I’m looking forward to seeing how I can use the next prompt to do what I have tentatively planned with my little quilt. 😅

Thank you for stopping by. I do enjoy our visits and love getting to respond to your comments. 😃 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Hmm. I made extra of the last two prompt blocks; here’s hoping they come up again for an easy round. (If you get my comment twice, feel free to delete one. Something weird happened as I was correcting a typo and the whole thing disappeared, I think.
