It’s about time I managed to sit down and write a post to join LeeAnna of Not Afraid of Color and a group of friends who write about the things that bring them joy or they are grateful for.
I’m enjoying our little home more now that the frigid temperatures and heavy snowfall have gone. It’s been raining so we have wet, slushy icy patches to deal with. Just look at my view from the clubhouse windows today;

My scenery changes daily but it always makes me happy when I look out the windows or can get out for a walk.
As we get closer to New Years Eve I find I am anticipating the year with much anticipation. I can only hope and pray it is a better year with happier memories. I know I’m already planning some projects for the month of January. Just look at the fun to be had:

Our New Years will be different this year. DH is going to be tucked in at home with friends and family popping in, a supply of ready made meals, abundant chocolate and his remote. I am en route to the studio to get a commission finished on the longarm and a couple of odd jobs done for D. 🥳
I am so glad we live in a time where we have the technology we do. I’ve been entertained with phone and video calls with family and many photos shared this past week.

Thank you for spending some time with me as you read this. I am especially grateful for all of you. ❄️🎄☃️ Carol
Happy New Year, Carol! I hope your 2023 is a happier one than 2022!
