I Love Thursday #56

I’m joining a group of friends who get together via a linky party on LeeAnna’s blog Not Afraid of Color some weeks to share list of things that bring them joy, inspire them or make them laugh.

This was my view this morning when it got light enough to get a photo:

The first snowfall down in the valley. It always make me happy to see the white. It’s such a pretty change from the grey, rainy days of fall. 😄

Some weeks are just so much fun with lots to share. I’ve been crazy busy with being at my Guild almost every day to work on some projects. one day we did this:

Now we just need to have a work day to get our shelves built! 😄

We also had a sew day to help a novice learn to use a pattern while the rest of us worked on various projects, sandwiching quilts, making story boards, creating bench cushions and working on items for the Christmas Hamper drive.

On my daily walks I found some more pretty fungi to share:

No Thursday posts are complete with out sharing some new photos of my youngest great granddaughters, Clarke and Grace in their new hometown and home:

Today is a day for me to remember my father and other family members who served and are serving in the Canadian Armed Forces. For all who are spending Remembrance Day/Veterans Day with your memories or enlisted members I’m sending out my thanks and prayers your safety and good health.

Thank you for stopping in to read my post. I appreciate it when you click on the follow button and enjoy responding to your comments. 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. You ladies did awesome on the shed! Woohoo for woman power! I love to see when guilds invite new people and encourage them to learn. The pic of Clarke and the stink eye is fabulous! What a cutie, they both are, but that pic is awesome. How awesome to be able to celebrate our freedoms for both countries and to be able to celebrate the service of our fathers, brothers, grandfathers, uncles, cousins and friends.

    1. Hi Kathleen. That actually is our new shed 😉. I’ll post about our building soon. Yes we have our OWN building, and have worked hard to restore, renovate and improve it. I’m glad you enjoy seeing the grands and great grands. 😁
