I haven’t fallen out of step with keeping busy this week.
I’m playing with these fabrics making strip sets which will be used in a fun pattern test by a designer I really enjoy:

I’ve also been doodling with ideas for a project for the I’m Falling For You Blog Hop in September.

I’m trying a new idea for another quilt for the Quilts for Lytton Drive. It will be another scrappy quilt that I can do as a leader/ender project.
If I can get away to the studio again I’d like to finish another 5 or 6 quilts to donate to the Drive.
On top of everything today is my youngest son (my baby as he hates to hear me say) is 42 years old. I like to remind him he was my tiniest baby at 6lbs 2 ozs. We chuckle over that because he is 6’8”. He will even get to spend his birthday with his wife and kids because he is on his home portion of the rotation and they are all in Alberta for another week before he heads back to work and my DIL and Grands go back home to Mexico. It would have been nice to see them all this trip back to Canada, but safer not to with Alberta having the highest infection rate of COVID-19 infections. Perhaps it will be better their next trip back to Canada. 😷
Hope you are having fun, staying safe with the rising Covid cases and having some time to fondle fabric, thread or wool. 😉 Carol
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the strips – I love to make strip/string quilts!

Thank you. It’s working out to be an interesting pattern so far 😉
