I’m behind on writing about my PHD’s. I completely missed my June post so I’m catching up this month.

I’ve been able to complete most of my projects that I started this year to at least the flimsy stage. If the fire hadn’t broken out I would have been able to finish several more of my starts or UFOs. Once the wildfire is contained and I can get back to the studio, I’ll get back on my roll. I really don’t want to end the year with more UFO’s than I started with and the backlog is almost completely in the To Be Quilted Department.
In the meantime while on alert I’m keeping busy making as many quilt tops from my scrap stash as possible. The only fabric I use from my stash is for sashing or borders.
I also finished a sweet baby quilt top, Let Your Star Shine, Pattern by Sandra Walker of MMM Quilts. It finishes at 36 1/2” square and is the perfect size for a baby quilt or wall hanging. It’s a great pattern and I’ve already pulled fabric from the stash to make more. 😉

I’ve also got my project for the Orange You Glad Blog Hop Project coming along.
I’d like to thank Gail at Quilting Gail for having such a fun challenge to keep these UFOs and PHDs being finished.
I’m so glad you stopped by to read my post. Thank you in advance for your comments. I do enjoy reading them and reply to each one. 😉 Carol
WOW!!! Carol, you are doing great with your PHD in 2021!!! Look at all those new starts that you’ve finished! And all the UFOs you’ve completed – way to go!
I know that as soon as you get to your studio, you’ll have more finishes done! 🙂
Thanks for linking up to PHD in 2021! 🙂
