We are still on evacuation alert, but I don’t have any updated maps. The smoke is still too thick for them to get good photos to map it out. It was another day of watching helicopters and timing their runs, taking photos of these amazing pilots. Their job is hindered by the people rafting and tubing down the river in spite of the many requests to leave the waterway clear for the buckets to be filled 🤯. At one time I counted 6 different helicopters on our wildfire.
The good news is I did finish another quilt top. This one is made with super scrappy 2” squares and some leftover 3 1/2” squares, all from my scrap bin. I did use 1 1/2 yards of a creamy solid from the stash as well.
This one is 54” square. It will go to the Quilts for Lytton Drive once it is finished. I’ve now added it to my bin with backing and binding fabrics.
Thanks for stopping by to read my post. 😁 Carol
