Had some fun today playing with scraps. š
Iāve been busy doing some organizing and redrafting patterns. I even drew out a quilting design on a quilt top.
It was one of those days I just couldnāt settle to any one project. I think that it must be the start of spring fever. The weather is forecast to be 8 Celsius with rain on Monday.
Another cause for the unsettled attitude is watching the news (I know I shouldnāt do it) with all of the freezing weather, power outages and even deaths from carbon monoxide poisoning. It is heartbreaking and then the cause for so much anger when the politicians get on tv and tell lies about the causes of the outages. If only they did it with the face of a cat. š¤Æ
Tomorrow is a town day with DH having more tests at the hospital in Nelson. I will run over to pick up our grocery order and his prescriptions while he is there.
Then itās back home to work on the secret sewing project.
Hope you all have managed to stay home, stay warm and stay healthy. š¤ Carol
As I’m sitting here, I’m watching a squirrel out of our deck riffling through the Christmas tree, a bit put out because he’s not finding any nuts. I’m wondering about the squirrels in your quilt room and waiting to see the secret sewing. Hope your trek to the appointment goes well for both of you!

Hi Wendy. One of the squirrels is actually in my photos in this post. It was a quick DrEAMI project to test a pattern šæšIām sure your squirrel is fun to watch. The secret sewing is going along nicely. I did get stuck on fabric choices for one of them š

Hi Carol! Is that a Storm at Sea block you are working on? I love the colors of everything you’ve shared. I hope the town day goes well for you and that you get everything accomplished that you’d like to. ~smile~ Roseanne
