I Love Thursday #32

Most weeks I try to stop for a few minutes to think of my life, how fortunate I am and what brings me joy or happiness. A great group post these happy lists on LeeAnna’s blog Not Afraid of Color.

I love popping over to see what everyone is sharing.

Here in Canada we have a coast to coast arctic front covering us all in sub zero temperatures. I love seeing the pretty blue skies.

I love have plenty of projects and the supplies on hand to keep my hands busy.

I loved knitting (and finishing) this shawl:

and have now started a crochet scarf just to change things up a bit.

Now it’s time to get back to trying to finish up my quilt for a good friend.

All of the sections just need to be sewed together and some appliqué work done.

Getting close to another finish. 😉

Thanks for stopping by. Now I’m m heading to LeeAnna’s blog to see what everyone is sharing today. 😁 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. we’re in a cold snap too… going down to -7 the next couple days… blue skies! (sign of less pollution than here) lovely crocheted scarf and I know what you mean about plenty of supplies! Love, LeeAnna

  2. We’re cold here too but probably not as cold as you. Still enough to wish for warmer temps and a glimpse of the sun. Haven’t seen Old Sol in quite a while. Hope you’ve managed a bit more on your friend’s quilt.

  3. Hi Carol! That coast-to-coast cold front has slipped down quite a bit from the border! We’ve been feeling frigid forever it seems with no end in sight. I love the photo of your pretty blue skies! That would be nice to see around here, too. Sunshine always makes everything brighter. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. That’s a pretty shawl, Carol. I’m sure looking forward to this cold snap moving on; it looks so lovely outside today, but it isn’t! Hope your friend is improving. That’s going to be a nice quilt for him!

  5. That is my favorite part of the cold weather. The blue skies. Glad you have plenty of supplies laid in so you don’t have to go out if you don’t want to.
