On Thursday a group of quilty friends get together on LeeAnna’s blog Not Afraid of Color to share gratitude posts filled with their Likes/loves. It’s always fun to visit and see what everyone is sharing and a real comfort in these crazy, stressful times.
My first loves are my DH and my growing family. I am so excited to have another great great granddaughter. Grace was born last Friday and the whole family is doing well.

Her big sister, Clarke wasn’t too sure what to do with her baby sister the first time she had her in her lap.

I enjoy playing with scraps and orphan blocks to creat fun new things:
It really works for me right now as I’m too unsettled to be able to concentrate on some projects I need to finish.
Instead of stressing over things I can do nothing about, I’m going to concentrate on enjoying my walks. Our grey, cloudy days of continuous rain or snow have cleared, bringing us cool weather with beautiful blue skies.

How are you all doing? Have you had some time to play and create? What is making you do a happy dance today?

Head on over to LeeAnna’s Blog, Not Afraid of Color to see what our friends are sharing today!
Thanks for visiting. 😄 Carol
Hi Carol! OMG!! Look at the picture of Clarke and Grace. They really are going to be so close and just the best of friends as the grow together. I hope they are each other’s bestie and always have each other’s back. Won’t it be so much fun to watch?! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

Love the photo of Clarke and Grace – how sweet! I’m glad you are just enjoying your walks – I think simple things like that help ground us and make us feel more at ease. Your sewing mojo will return and the concentration will too. I’m happy dancing because my RR border worked – woohoo!

Cute pink blocks! I’ve been scrapping a lot lately – it’s been fun!
What a beautiful view. Walking is a good thing! We didn’t get out today, but soon.
