Here in Canada it’s Thanksgiving Day. Some people are managing to share their holiday with family and friends. Others are choosing to stay home in their bubble. However you are choosing to spend your day I do hope it is wonderful.
DH and I are tucked in at home. The weather is a bit unpredictable right now. We have been experienced by a rainy October but there have some glorious days when DH was able to get out on the course. It’s beautiful here this morning with the fog starting to clear.

I have been sitting here thinking of my life, my family and my friends and how thankful I am. I’m relatively healthy and my DH is doing extremely well for “a man in his condition” as he likes to say.
My family are all safe and healthy. My daughter in law and grandkids survived the latest hurricane in Mexico with no harm or damage to either themselves or their many new friends in their community.
I have a decent 😉 stash to keep me busy, am privileged to be able to do some pattern testing for several designers I admire and DH supports my addiction fully.
I am going to be able to work a few days in our upcoming Provincial elections which will enable me to be able to perform my civic duty. They have satisfied me with the stringent safety protocols that are in place. DH and I have already voted by mail.
I am so thankful for my online community which keeps me sane and inspired and I am especially thankful for you, my readers who stop in to see what I am up to, follow my blog and keep me motivated by your sweet comments.
Stay safe, wear a mask and above all, be kind! 😉 Carol
Happy Thanksgiving a bit late, Carol. I’m glad you had time to reflect and found yourself thankful. So happy that your hubs is doing well and is able to be out on the course. I’m grateful for my online community as well, and that you are a part of it.

Happy Thanksgiving, Carol! It’s good to have a day to take an accounting of our blessings and realize how many there are and how much more important they are than everything else!

Hi Susan. It is nice to have a day for just that. I think that’s why I like LeeAnna’s I Like Thursday’s so much.
