I’m joining LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color and a group of like minded people who share their likes or loves on Thursdays. It’s so inspiring to see such positive posts every week! Once again I’m late linking up but yesterday was a day away from home.
I love the fall and the colours of the foliage as it is getting ready for winter. We were in Nelson yesterday for one of DH’s medical appointments and I took a couple of minutes to enjoy the fall colours and the quaint heritage buildings.

Nelson is a very hilly city and I always admire the funny twists, hills and views on the streets.

While we were there the skies were an incredible blue and the sun was shining.

The clinic is in a beautiful heritage building, complete with hardwood floors and incredible wainscotting. I love the brickwork on this building and am very happy to see a plaque commemorating it as a heritage building.
While we were getting in to the car after DH”s treatment we were rewarded with this:

I love the colours and find it to make me think of colour palette’s for a new quilt design.
I love being able to continue sewing through all of the madness in our world. I was privileged to be asked to test a pattern for Sandra Walker of MMM Quilts. Sandra has a wonderful giveaway on her blog today to celebrate the seventh anniversary of her blog and the release of her latest pattern. The pattern is Waltzing With Bears and it is a sweet one to make. You can read about my experience here.

Now I am off to continue playing with fabric for my next pattern test.
Hope your day is filled with sunshine and fun. If you are here in Canada I would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. As always I am hoping you stay home, stay safe and above all else be kind. So happy to have you visit me.

Hi Carol! It’s never too late to share your likes for the week. Very interesting houses – it looks like they made the best of terrain their were dealt. ~smile~ Roseanne
