This past week sped by so quickly I can’t believe it’s time to link with a group of friends that on LeeAnna’s blog Not Afraid of Colour to see their I Like/Love posts for the week. Do pop over to see what everyone is sharing.
I love that our local wildfire is starting to get under control but my heart is aching for our neighbours to the south.

I love being able to get out to support one of my Guild members who has a LQS that I enjoy visiting. My DH sent me to the shop last week to spend some money since I have been working so hard looking after him! 😊
Look what came home with me;

I love planning a quilt with much input from a special (aren’t they all?😉) granddaughter. She picked these fabrics over texting while I was at the shop!

I like seeing DH wander around our little apartment without a walker. His physiotherapist is amazed at how quickly he’s improving. We think it’s living on a golf course that is the motivation for him to get up and get moving 😉. Yes he has been putting and chipping.
I love having a finish this week

I really enjoy doing pattern tests for various designers. It keeps me on my toes. I like having to read and actually following a pattern. 3 more to do this month along with finishing my blog posts for two hops! I love the challenge of having a deadline. 🤫
It’s a short list this week. My likes are many but smoke is slowing down my ability to think!

I do hope you all are staying home, being safe and not bothered by the wildfires and smoke. Carol
Ooh – pretty fabrics. I really like the teal; the others are lovely, too.
Yeah – some of the fire photographs I’ve seen are crazy intense.

Lovely fabric choices! I’ll be watching to see them used! I need to make a trip to my LQS also. I used up my last spool of real red cotton thread! That won’t do! And I need some border fabric! So maybe tomorrow!
Hope you have a continued good week!

Oh, your hubby is a good guy. How cool that he sent you to the quilt shop. You found some really fun fabric, so I’ll watch for what you do with it.

Wendy he is a keeper for sure 😉. Some of the fabric is actually for backings but I do have some ideas for others 😄

Thank you Colette. I’ve actually printed that sign and put it up on the wall by my sewing table. I think I needed a reminder to keep being positive and caring. Our I Like/Love posts sure help but more reinforcement is better 😉
