To Do Tuesday #16

My goals for last week:

1. Sew the zipper in Ruby’s chair. Done!

2. Finish the binding on the test quilt. Done!

Another finish!

3. Work on the Christmas in July Hop Project. Working on it!

4. Keep up with the Days Filled With Joy QAL. Just need to put the borders on!

5. Knit more socks. Some progress!

6. Finish the last 3 rounds on the Rag Rug. 1 round done.

7. Take my machine in for repairs again. 😢. Did not get there yet. 😢

8. Keep working on the secret sewing. 🤫. Working on it!

9. Start the commission quilt if the T-shirts arrive. No shirts yet.

……and deal with my Squirrels that are running circles around my sewing machine. Another secret 🤫

It was a good week with some finishes. That always makes me do a happy dance!

This week is one with migraines I’m sure with our weather going from sunny and nice, to electrical storms, to sunny, to pouring rain in the space of a few hours. The barometer going up and does does not agree with me. So I will be reasonable and keep the list manageable. 😏

1. Send Charlotte and Ruby their chairs.

2. Work on the Christmas in July (then and now) Blog Hop Project.

3. Finish the Days Filled With Joy Mystery Quilt Along Project.

4. Work on the Star Kissed Quilt Along Project.

5. Finish up the first part of the secret sewing project and start the next 3 parts.

6. Sock knitting.

7. Rag rug project.

8. Take my sewing machine in for repairs if I can arrange a time.

Nice easy week with several projects that can keep me occupied!

I will be linking up with Roseanne and Sue at Home Sewn By Us for their To-Do Tuesday #47 . Do take some time to go visit their blog and see what everyone is working on. 😊 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Reading what you have been working on makes me tired! You’re a busy lady!
    Love the scrappy quilt!
And, I can’t wait to see what you’re going to make with the Primo fabric collection!
Hope the migraines settle down and go away!
    Happy Quilting! 🙂

    1. Hi Gail. I confess that I try to keep several projects in different stages. That way it seems like I am getting lots done with finishes frequently. The weather might improve next week so I will do better without the migraines. The Primo Collection is being added to some other treasures pieces of batiks and I can’t wait to share in a future blog hop. Thank you for your comments.😉 Carol

  2. Hi again, Carol! I am so sorry to hear about the migraines. Yes, the barometer fluctuating so much often gives me a headache as well. Your list had a LOT of progress this past week. Here’s to another one. And thanks for linking up in advance! ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. Sorry to hear about the migraines. Our barometer has been dancing here too, with rain almost all day yesterday and high temps and humidity. You have some good projects going and have made some good progress too! Fun sneak peek for the blog hop. I haven’t taken any photos of my project(s) yet.

    1. Hi Wendy. Between the squirrels and the hops I’ve had some fun this week. I am so looking forward to the hop. My DH is the world’s biggest Grinch so doing Christmas things is only for gifts usually. I’ve always been Mrs. Christmas so I can’t wait to see all the eye candy! 😉
