To Do Tuesday #14

I confess to having been missing in action for the past couple of weeks (or a month if I’m really honest). Not paying attention to my goal lists or writing new ones. This week is a new page and in spite of the world news and increasing numbers of Covid19 cases I am going to get it together. Thanks to some on line quilters cheering me on I am back to sewing at least 15 minutes (or better yet my goal of 30 minutes) a day every day this month so far, except one.

1. Sew the second bean bag chair.

2. Work on quilting the test pattern quilt.

3. Christmas in July Blog Hop project.

4. Keep knitting socks. Second pair is on the needles.

5. Try to finish my rag rug.

6. Check my stash for fabrics for a commission or start shopping on line if I don’t have enough. 😉

Have a great week and good luck with your goals 😉 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Oh my goodness, that little one is so cute! I’m so glad you are doing some sewing each day. I think each of us has encountered at least one funk during all this craziness (probably more – mine seems to come and go). Your mojo will come back; just be patient. I need to check out that blog hop; I haven’t seen that one. Enjoy your day, Carol!

    1. Thank you so much Wendy! Clarke is such a happy wee girl. She always smiles. I can’t wait to see what Stitching Sunshine Quilty goodness brings us! I’m sewing every day but can’t show most of it yet. We have sunshine today so a walk is in order before I get behind the machine 😁 Carol

  2. Hi Carol! OMG – Clarke is getting so big and she is so darn happy! Our three-month-old Colt just left and he shared some smiles with us. They’re just the best, aren’t they?! I’m glad you’re back with a list. Good luck with making a wee dent in it but let’s not stress if there isn’t one. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

    1. Hi Roseanne. We are lucky to have our littles, aren’t we? Clarke sure does light up my life! All the others do as well but this one? Her eyes mesmerize me. My dent is becoming larger on my list. The sun is shining. Life does present us so many reasons to smile. 😉 Carol

  3. Oh what a cutie! Welcome back to the bandwagon, it is okay to loose the mojo especially during this interesting time. I hope your list went well!
