Happy Happy Day

Seams to be Sewn.

Moving day is October 15th for the move to our temporary home.  Happy Birthday to me!

I will be getting the keys next week and have already measured and sorted what goes where.  I was a bit concerned that the light might not be adequate but today something wonderful happened!  I won an Ottlite!

I have been following Marian’s My Happy Place Row Along to plan another new project for when I finally get a sewing space set up.  Today Marian emailed me to let me know I had won!  How great is that?!?!  https://www.seamstobesew.com  It has been too much fun collecting block patterns and I found so many new to me bloggers to follow.  Ideas are just jumping out at me for new projects; quilts, wall hangings and even more Christmas presents for my kids, grandkids and great grandkids.  Did I tell you a new one will be arriving in February?  So much to look forward to……….fabric fondling and best of all, time to sew.

Some quilting has occurred with Homecoming almost done.  I should be binding this quilt this week and hope to have it delivered before my next teaching day.    I am glad I have a whole day scheduled to just play with my students before moving day.  I think everything is finally done being sorted and purged and ready to go to storage.  The bulk of the packing is done for our temporary home.  I feel like I have earned a day to play!

Take  the time to fondle some fabric and enjoy this beautiful Indian Summer.  Today we have beautiful blue skies and the trees are turning gorgeous shades of gold and red and the greens are so vibrant now!  What is the weather like where you live?

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.
