PQ 17.3 Year of the Horse

This week Trish came up with a good one:

“find your inspiration from the turn of the year, in the animal, in our hopes and desires for the near future”

My hopes and desires for the near future? To have an opportunity to see some of my family this year. I have no favourites among the grands and great grands but do need to share a couple of these two horsewomen. They have been riding almost since they could walk, and also ride motorbikes and quads. Real country girls 😉

Chances are I’ll not be travelling to see them since DH can’t travel any more so I’ll content myself with spending time at my Guild and stitching up a storm here at home.

I looked through my stash but couldn’t find any horse fabrics. Guess they’ve all been used making things for the above cuties!🤭

Then yesterday I was loading the car to go to the Guild and when I got there I was joking with a friend that I feel like a packhorse and inspiration struck!

Last night I pulled some fabrics and got busy sewing.

Ta Da!🎉

Now I just need to add some more pins to the pincushion, add some snips to the clip and tuck my necessities in the front pockets.

Now I only need to carry my machine and one basket with my project and my mat full of supplies.

I’m hoping the bonus will be less vibration of my machine on the tables at the Guild.

Thanks to Trish and Kim for another fun challenge.

Thanks for taking the time to visit! I sure appreciate it. 🤗 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.
