It’s my favourite way to start a new year; doing the SAHRR which is the brainchild of Quilting Gail. You can check her blog title for the link for this week’s linky party to see all of the fun center blocks of anyone who has joined in.
For my center I checked to see if I had any orphan blocks I wanted to use, but nothing seemed “just right” so I got out my scrap bins to play.
This is one of the blocks I finished (but there are two versions since I wasn’t positive which fabric combo I preferred) and I think it’s “the one”.

I wasn’t sure which one would work better. I think it will depend on the first prompt next week.
But then my dear squirrel, Samantha suggested I think of using this lovely panel for a center block?!?

I’ve been wanting to do something with it and do have some lovely fabrics that would work.
It must be the weird weather here, but I’m really having a problem deciding this year 😆. So I have until the next prompt comes out to choose which of the 3 I’ll actually use. 🤣
Thanks for stopping by. Do pop over to Quilting Gail’s blog to see the creative blocks others are choosing to use in their Stay at Home Round Robin projects.
😉 Carol

Using a panel is a good idea.
