Happy Birthday!

It’s too much fun to share but today is my birthday.

TO ME!

I’m officially 69 years old at 7:13 am. I’m celebrating this one because I have now outlived my sister, both parents, all but one of the grandparents and their siblings , and all of my great grandparents and their siblings. Longevity sure doesn’t run in my family. 🥹. Seems like a reason to celebrate, right? 😁

It will be an interesting day. Once I get DH dressed and fed, I have to go check our heat pumps at the Guild (apparently they aren’t working). Then I have to run to the bank (an hours drive south) to do a golf club deposit. I’ll make it back in time to do my volunteer shift at the golf club. Several friends are stopping by for a visit and after my shift I’m meeting a friend for desert. I made dinner tonight for DH and myself (pasta with a chicken Alfredo sauce). There’s two dishes leftover, ready to be popped in the oven and baked with extra Parmesan, Romano and Asiago cheeses on top so I just have to make a salad.

Sounds fun to have desert before dinner, doesn’t it? 😆

If it’s a special day for you, please enjoy it. If it isn’t a special day; just go ahead and celebrate you because you are special and cared for. 🤗

….. and don’t be afraid to have your desert before your dinner once in a while. 😆

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  5. Happy Birthday and congrats on the momentous occasion! It sounds like you had a day planned with plenty of celebrations mixed in yoru busy days. Hope they birthday celebrations continue a bit longer…I always think they should!
