I hope you’ve all had a good week making progress on your lists. Mine wasn’t great for stitching time, but I did make a bit of progress on a couple of my projects.
My Last To-Do Goals:

Another week of being busy with doctor’s appointments for DH, trips to town for meds, volunteering at the golf club and a couple of meetings. I did manage to stitch every day, even if it was only 15 – 30 minutes in the evening. I’m not able to show all of my progress since a lot of it was secret sewing on projects for upcoming blog hops. 😉
Now it’s time to see how I did with my goals for the week:
1. Keep making some bags for the Christmas Hamper/Dinner event in December from everything I have kitted up. No progress 😢
2. Keep hand stitching in the evening to finish the needlepoint kit. Just finishing the white threads and adding the accents! ✅

3. Finish making my quilt top from my crumb blocks and leftover panel blocks. Getting the sashing on as leader ender project ✅

4. Keep working to empty my project bins. No progress 😢

5. Keep making some progress on the memory quilts from all of my family’s t-shirts or clothing. One more blocks quilted ✅

6. Finish the blocks for the quilt for C’s friend in Nova Scotia. I’ve made progress getting some of the other blocks pieced. ✅

7. Keep playing with the blocks I’ve made from Denise’s donated bits in one of her many Treasure boxes she sent of goodies now to get one of the quilt tops finished this week. Assembling this as a leader ender project. ✅

8. Work on finishing my project for an upcoming hop. Finished my project and started writing my post! ✅

9. Finalize my plan for a project for my favourite Hop of the year. Project is cut and piecing has begun! ✅

10. Keep Samantha and her squirrel buddies from distracting me or coercing me to start anything else new 🐿️🐿️🐿️🐿️. Nothing new started and I’m not counting the projects I’ve added to my “Must Make List” 🤣✅
This Week’s goals:

Now it’s time to set my goals for the week.
1. Keep making some bags for the Christmas Hamper/Dinner event in December from everything I have kitted up.

2. Get the needlepoint finished so I can decide how to finish it.

3. Finish making my quilt top from my crumb blocks and leftover panel blocks.

4. Keep working to empty my project bins.

5. Keep making some progress on the memory quilts from all of my family’s t-shirts or clothing on the never ending stack of blocks (yes there are still more pieces of clothing to use up)

6. Finish the blocks for the quilt for C’s friend in Nova Scotia.

7. Get the quilt top finished using stash fabrics first sashing along with the blocks I’ve made from Denise’s donated bits from the Treasure boxes she sent of goodies

8. Finish writing my post for my project for an upcoming hop.

Stitchin’ Time

Kate from Life in Pieces hosts a weekly linky party to help us keep to our goals of stitching every day!
I’m trying for at least 30 minutes a day this year and 1 hour at the end of the week to tidy up and deal with my scraps. 🤔
- January 4/31
- February 2/28
- March 10/31
- April 12/30
- May 29/31
- June 28/30
- July 31/31
- August 30/30
- September 26/30
- October 11/31
- this week 7/7
- Previous Total: 179/277
- Total: 186/285
- Percentage = 65.26 %
I was able to get my stitching time in every day in spite of volunteering, trips to town for meds, and holding the final Golf Tournament of the year. I hope you all get to set and keep your goals for your Stitching Time and join Kate. 😁

Stash Report

I like to link with Donna @ QuiltPaintCreate to keep track of fabric in and out of my stash. If I can plan trips to the studio I expect my stash to be reduced terrifically when I start making backings for all of the quilt tops I’ve got to do. 🤩
- Fabric Used: 0 yards
- Fabric Purchased this week: 0 yards
- Fabric Previous Balance: 15 yards
- Fabric Purchased this year: 9 yards
- Balance in stash to use this year: 90 yards
* my goal is to lessen my stash by 200 50 yards this year but realistically I’ll be happy with whatever I manage. I’m lessening my goal since I’ve been using mostly scraps, leftover bits and donated treasures and since I’ll not be getting to use my longarm my backing fabric usage will be minimal.😉
* any fabric used from the scrap bins, was gifted or a prize; doesn’t count as stash!
Memories of Quilts From the Past

Design Wall Mondays

Judy, at Small Quilts and Doll Quilts, hosts a linky party for “Design Wall Mondays” every week.
I’m including some photos of my current WIPs;

My UFO and WIP List
Last but not least I have to update my UFO Speadsheet and then try keeping it up to date and so help with my accountability now that I have gone through everything in my storage room and sewing space. I think I’ve given up on getting this updated. I might just wait and start fresh next year. 🫤.

Thank you Kate. It does look good statistically but a lot of those days I only get 20-30 minutes in; but it still counts, right?😉
