I hope you’ve all had a good week making progress on your lists. Mine wasn’t great for stitching time, but I did make a bit of progress on a couple of my projects.
My Last To-Do Goals:

1. Keep making some bags for the Christmas Hamper/Dinner event in December from everything I have kitted up. No progress 😢

2. Keep hand stitching in the evening doing my EPP and the needlepoint kit. I made some more progress and should have a finish this week! 😁

3. Finish making my quilt top from my crumb blocks and leftover panel blocks. Still working on the sashing/lattice strips. 😁

4. Keep working to empty my project bins. No progress as I didn’t start any new projects from the bins this week. 😉

5. Keep making some progress on the memory quilts from all of my family’s t-shirts or clothing. Made a bit more progress 😁

6. Finish the blocks for the quilt for C’s friend in Nova Scotia which will also use up some of the bits from my stack of project bins when I find the fabrics in my storage room bins. I didn’t have time to go through the last 2 bins, but I’m so sure that’s where the fabric I need is. 😉

7. Keep playing with the blocks I’ve made from Denise’s donated bits in one of her many Treasure boxes she sent of goodies now that I’ve changed my plan. I have 2 projects on the go with these blocks and I’ve made some progress! 😁

8. Start planning my project for an upcoming hop. Fabrics are selected and cut! 😁

9. Start planning a project for my favourite Hop of the year. I think I have a plan! 😁

10. Keep Samantha and her squirrel buddies from distracting me or coercing me to start anything else new . 🐿️🐿️🐿️ Success! I managed to keep Sam and her buddies from sidetracking me.
This Week’s goals:

Now it’s time to set my goals for the week.
1. Keep making some bags for the Christmas Hamper/Dinner event in December from everything I have kitted up.

2. Keep hand stitching in the evening to finish the needlepoint kit.

3. Finish making my quilt top from my crumb blocks and leftover panel blocks.

6. Finish the blocks for the quilt for C’s friend in Nova Scotia which will also use up some of the bits from my stack of project bins when I find the fabrics in my storage room bins. I’m going to make time this evening after finishing at the golf club and making dinner to find that fabric.

7. Keep playing with the blocks I’ve made from Denise’s donated bits in one of her many Treasure boxes she sent of goodies now to get one of the quilt tops finished this week.

8. Work on finishing my project for an upcoming hop:

9. Finalize my plan for a project for my favourite Hop of the year:

Stitchin’ Time

Kate from Life in Pieces hosts a weekly linky party to help us keep to our goals of stitching every day. I just love her new logo!
I’m trying for at least 30 minutes a day this year and 1 hour at the end of the week to tidy up and deal with my scraps. 🤔
- January 4/31
- February 2/28
- March 10/31
- April 12/30
- May 29/31
- June 28/30
- July 31/31
- August 30/30
- September 23/27
- this week 5/7
- Previous Total: 167/263
- Total: 172/270
- Percentage = 63.7 %
I wasn’t able to get my stitching time in every day but I’m content with all that’s going on. I hope you all get to set and keep your goals for your Stitching Time and join Kate. 😁

Stash Report

I like to link with Donna @ QuiltPaintCreate to keep track of fabric in and out of my stash. If I can plan trips to the studio I expect my stash to be reduced terrifically when I start making backings for all of the quilt tops I’ve got to do. 🤩
- Fabric Used: 0 yards
- Fabric Purchased this week: 0 yards
- Fabric Previous Balance: 15 yards
- Fabric Purchased this year: 9 yards
- Balance in stash to use this year: 90 yards
* my goal is to lessen my stash by 200 100 yards (I’ve adjusted my goal since it is almost September and I can no longer visit the studio) this year but realistically I’ll be happy with whatever I manage. 😉
* any fabric used from the scrap bins, was gifted or a prize; doesn’t count as stash!

You made some good progress on your to do list. Sorry I’m a bit behind on my blog reading. Hopefully this last week was even better.

Thank you Kate. It does seem that we all are behind in blog reading, or at least I am 😉. This was another good week for stitching time. 😆
