SAHRR My Centre Block

It has begun and I’m linking my post over at Quilting Gail’s blog. This is always one of my most favourite projects each year. In my next post I’ll share photos of my previous SAHRR quilts.

I really had a difficult time choosing a block fit this year’s SAHRR, but then I came across some blocks I had started for the RSC Challenge last year before my world got crazy busy.

So here it is (or rather here are a few I’ve made and since I’m still trying to pull fabrics for the rest of this quilt) I will make a decision of which colour when I choose fabrics for the rest of the quilt. if none of these colours work I can always whip up another since these gnomes are too much fun to make!

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you all have picked out your centre blocks and are playing along with all of our friends.

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Any of those will make a really fun quilt. Looking forward to seeing your fabric palette and center. I’ve figured out this week’s border, but now have to finish my chores before I can go stitch on it.

  2. Hi Carol! Oh my goodness! That Snoopy with the shamrocks and the sweet gnome is so cute. But they all are cute. You will have a difficult time selecting your center block. Can’t wait to see where you go, my friend. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
