My June PHD Check In

The end of the month means it’s time to check in with our friend, Gail from Quilting Gail to see how we are all doing with our PHD Goals for the year. With all that was going on in my crazy world, I didn’t have a chance to link my post or even schedule it!

I really had a month in June! Having an unplanned trip to the studio when D fell and ended up in hospital gave me time when I was stressing or couldn’t sleep to play with my favourite machines.

It resulted in my coming home with quilts just needing the final touches to be counted as a finish:

I managed to finish three UFOs on my list, and I did manage to not add any more (so far) to my UFO List.

Finally a change in my numbers! 😉

I’m really hoping that I can meet the challenge and get my PHD in 2023. I can’t thank our friend, Quilting Gail for coming up with such a fun challenge to help us finish those UFOs and WIPs.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing some of your time with me. 😉 Carol

I think I missed linking with Gail @ Quilting Gail for the PHD in 2023 June Report, but I’m too happy having some progress to not share. 😁

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. You’ve had a rough summer, a hospital stay for Your Guy and now the short staff at the golf course. Congrats on all the progress. Hopefully things smooth out for the rest of the year.

  2. Hi Carol! Your Double Wedding Ring quilt looks fabulous on your bed. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having a rough summer. I’ll step up my prayers for you and D and DH. {{Hugs}} a bunch, my friend. ~smile~ Roseanne
