Last week we had 24 amazing posts linked up sharing WIPs and finishes. I did manage to visit some of you, but had to go out of town unexpectedly and time and internet access are limited with my days being spent at the hospital with just my phone. I will visit everyone when I’m home and can get online with my computer. For now I will share the feature photos of everyone’s posts:
As well as spending my days at the hospital, I am enjoying walking D’s fur baby. He gets tired enough that he then has a nap while I get some time in the studio with my favourite machines.
Now it’s your turn to add your link so we can visit, enjoy your projects and cheer you on!
- This linky party is for any project – It can be in-progress or a finished piece.
- You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features one of your projects.
- If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. There will be a linky party available every week!
- This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
- Following or commenting on my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!
Do tell your friends about our link party. There’s always room for more to join in and we all enjoy seeing what everyone is working on and cheering you on! I’m hoping you all had a fun week and got more of those check marks on your lists! 😉. Carol
Hope everyone is recovering well and things aren’t too serious. Enjoy some studio time, you need something to cut down the stress. Stitching time definitely does that for me.

Hi Kate. They just took D for her surgery. I brought a quilt to hand bind while I’m waiting. Stitching sure does help me to stay calm

I’m sorry to hear about D’s hospitalization. Sitting in hospitals is not a fun job. You are awesome to be there for her and I know her pup appreciates you too! I’m glad you get to have some studio time while you are there. I love my Avante! Thanks for hosting TDT!

Thank you Brenda. While she is in surgery I can get caught up emails and blogs. I also brought a quilt that needs hand sitting on the binding. 🤗

I’m glad you are getting some time with your machine, but I sure wish D wasn’t going through all that. I know she can rest easy knowing you are caring for her place and her pup. Walking dogs is good exercise, and I’m sure he likes being out and about a bit. Take care!

Thank you Wendy. The little stinker is enjoying his walks and waking me up in the middle of the night. A couple of D’s neighbours came over last night and helped me clean up the front yard and one neighbour is putting in some new plants in the front beds. Won’t she be surprised when she gets home? 😉

Hoping D is doing well from her surgery. Having handwork along with you is such a good idea for the calming effect, and passing time. Love the short haircut on you!

Thank you Cheree. We’ve been friends for 30+ years. I worked with her husband and we lost him last fall so it’s only natural to be there for her. I’m hanging in there and brought D home today from the hospital. I have to leave tomorrow since my DH has some medical tests on Monday and needs some supplies, but have some amazing neighbours checking in on her. She’s doing well so I’m not panicking over leaving her. I can be back Monday night if I’m needed. The Wedding Ring just needs binding now! 😁

What a fun link up! So inspiring! I’m glad you’re able to get some stitching in during these difficult times.
I do have the Accuquilt die for the Wedding Ring, however, it looks so intimidating. Yours is lovely!

Thank you. I think this is a fun linkup, too! If you have the die you really should try the Wedding Ring. It looks more complicated than it actually is. With the stitching you do, it’ll be a piece of cake for you. 😁
