Once again Sandra from MMM Quilts is hosting her seventh annual fun QAL.

Sandra has this to say about her fun event:
“As per usual, the QAL starts on a special day, April 3, with the flimsy due on another even more auspicious day, June 15. What’s with these special days, you may ask yourself? You’ve never heard of them? Well, long-time participants well know, and probably mark their calendars as my dad did, for the June 15 date for sure. However, if you are new, allow me to explain before I give you your homework for the week!”

I have been following Sandra (a fellow Canadian) for a while and will say I have really enjoyed the quilt Alongs I’ve joined in.
I did have the privilege of testing Sandra’s pattern when she finished it and here’s my project:

I have used several of Sandra’s patterns and always found them to be well written and easy to follow.

I’m jumping in and have the perfect fabrics for the Rainbow Neighborhood pattern.
If you’d like the details (it started this week but you can easily catch up) just click on the logo or the pattern photo.
Thanks for reading my post. I do hope you head over to Sandra’s site to check out all the details and join in the fun! 😉 Carol
That looks like a really fun project. I’m telling myself no new stuff till I finish off a few of my older projects It’s just to easy to keep starting fun new things!

Gosh Carol, you really did go to town on “Let Your Star Shine” pattern! I love it. Thank you for promoting my QAL; cannot believe it’s the 7th year! Love seeing your collection – the Waltzing With Bears you did is especially gorgeous. I’m so glad you’re hopping in for another QAL! I need to get my house block together for Monday, egad. Spent a few hours today actually cleaning and dusting my sewing room, so I’m ready to sew all weekend.

Hi Sandra. Starting with a clean, tidy sewing room is perfect! I’m starting to cut fabrics now. I’m so far behind already but I’ll have my block done, too! 😉
