My PHD Check In

Can you believe January is almost over? It’s time to check in with our friend, Gail from Quilting Gail to see how we are all doing with our PHD Goals for the year.

My year started with playing with a machine embroidered piece that I made on January 1 and used for the Project Quilting 14.1 challenge and then went on to a project bag for the PQ 14.2 challenge.

I have 4 UFOs finished for January! Yes, you read that right….4!

Lonestar Panel, hand quilted, binding hand stitched.
Let it Snow wall hanging, designed and started in December 2022.
I used some orphan blocks and made more from Sandra Healy Designs fun patterns.
I can only share a peek at this project. It will be featured in the I’m Kinda Sweet on You Blog Hop. 😉

I really am thrilled to be sewing again and I’m really hoping that I can meet the challenge and get my PHD in 2023. I can’t thank our friend, Quilting Gail for coming up with such a fun challenge to help us finish those UFOs and WIPs.
