August OMG

In keeping with trying to be easier on myself with real life outside my sewing space keeping me busy, I am trying to keep my goals to a minimum.

This month I will be doing some more quilting on my Panel quilt. It’s a small project that I can carry back and forth to the studio and both of my Janome’s have similar stitches so there shouldn’t be too much variation in the stitches when it’s finished.

I also need to finish my project and post for the August Blog Hop.

In between travelling and doing whatever is necessary between home and K and D’s I am also going to try to get another blog hop project for September closer to being finished up (I have two hops in September 😳).

It’ll be interesting to see how much time I get to spend with my machines this month, but my goals each involve moving projects along without pressuring myself to get them all finished. As a good friend, Roseanne keeps saying on her blog, Less Stress is Best!

Hope you are all having a good month with plenty of time to create in a not too hot space! 😓 Carol

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. Some of your goals are the same as mine … quilting a quilt / making the projects for upcoming blog hops!
I, too, have been thinking about Roseanne’s “Less Stress” … she’s a wise woman! 🙂

    1. But Gail you also have your scheduled IB projects to keep you busy. I only have my planned projects and real life commitments. That’s probably why Roseanne’s advice is touching a note 😉
