Another Box of Treasures

When I picked up my mail yesterday I received another fun box of treasures from Denise.

Lovely acrylic wool, knitting needles, notions, patterns and more!

There was so much more in this box of fun and inspiration:

Beautifully pieced blocks, panels, fabric, a sandwiched quilt top and black and white scraps!

I’ve been spending my time this past week or so, hand stitching this cheater panel which Denise had sent me in a prior goodie box:

At the rate I’m going I should have it finished by the end of next week?

This weekend I am at home since we got hit with another snow storm rolling through. We’ve had about 5-6 inches of snow since yesterday afternoon and more is coming.

I’m telling myself it’s a sign that staying home, hand stitching is what I need right now.

I have been fondling fabric and creating things with fabric and fiber for as long as I can remember. My children had homemade clothes, blankets, canning and quilts most of their lives. Now I create goodies to share! Hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy making them! When I am not creating with fiber or fabric I keep busy with Dear Heart, kids, grandkids, great grandkids.

  1. What a lovely box of goodies and that hand quilting piece is coming along nicely. I have jury duty tomorrow, so some waiting around. I will have to pull out some knitting or hand sewing! Stay safe with the snow….it comes and goes fast this time of year…at least that is what I like to believe.

    1. Hi Kathleen and thank you. We have been getting snow and rain and then snow again. Gotta love springtime in BC! Good luck with jury duty. I agree knitting or hand work will help. B
